Common questions
Do my reminders sync between devices?
Remindy backs up your reminders to your own private iCloud storage automatically, so they survive deleting and reinstalling the app or moving to a new iPhone. This happens silently in the background — there's nothing to set up.
Why didn't my reminder notify me?
Check that notifications are enabled for Remindy in your iPhone's Settings app (Settings → Remindy → Notifications). Remindy will also show a banner on the home screen if notifications are turned off.
Does Remindy work offline?
Yes — creating, editing, and completing reminders all work without an internet connection. Only the optional iCloud backup needs a connection, and it will simply catch up automatically the next time you're online.
Is my data private?
Yes. See the Privacy Policy for details — in short, everything stays on your device or in your own iCloud account. Nothing is sent to any server run by Remindy.
